We often get asked what sets us apart from our competitors, or “Why are we different?”
Well besides the fact that we are a local company that’s been around for a while, and you can’t turn a corner in the general Halton Hills area without someone saying something good about us, my answer usually goes into quality of the components we use. There are two things we are always focused on: a problem-free system that will last you 20 years and beyond, and a great return on your investment. Doing our best in these two disciplines means I can sleep at night, and so can you.
Typically, when we talk about the quality of components we’re talking about a few main items: type of panels, cabling, inverters, mounting system, trackers, etc. When we go into detail on these items we get a lot of glazed looks. That’s to be expected, of course, in an industry that’s still in its infancy here in Ontario. So forget all that for the moment.
Instead, we’re going sum up the difference by comparing one of our systems to a competitor’s system on a typical sunny day in October. These two systems are dual-axis trackers, both 11.72kW in size. They are about 2km apart in the Acton area.
Which system would you rather have?
